We are sure that COVID-19 is on your mind as you consider registering for #EFIC2022. We wanted to reassure you that we are taking all steps necessary to consider the safety of all participants and follow the legal requirements in Ireland. Relevant recommended sanitation measures will be followed to ensure that the congress venue is a safe environment to meet. As the #EFIC2022 Congress is less than two months away we wish to give an update on Health & Safety at the congress as well as current COVID-19 restrictions which will most likely be in place during 27-30 April 2022 in Dublin, Ireland.
 

Travelling to Ireland (Updated 11 March 2022)

All COVID-19 restrictions are removed for travelling to Ireland. You no longer need to complete a passenger locator form. You also no longer need proof of vaccination or recovery, or a COVID-19 test.

Current COVID-19 Restrictions in Ireland (Updated 28 February 2022)

From 28 February 2022:

  • The legal requirement to wear a face covering no longer applies. You should continue to use a face covering on public transport and in healthcare settings.
  • All restrictions on indoor hospitality and entertainment venues have been lifted. Proof of vaccination or recovery is no longer required to enter these premises.
  • If you have symptoms of COVID-19 you should self-isolate until 48 hours after your symptoms end. You no longer need a COVID-19 test if you have symptoms, unless you: 1) Are 55 or older and have not received a booster, 2) Have a high-risk medical condition, 3) Are immunocompromised, 4) Live in the same household or provide care and support to someone who is immunocompromised, 5) Are pregnant.
    If you are a close contact with no symptoms, you no longer need a test unless you are a healthcare worker who is a household close contact.
