Instructions for #EFIC2022 Poster Presenters

Congratulations on the acceptance of your poster as part of the Pain in Europe XII – the 12th Congress of the European Pain Federation EFIC to be held in Dublin, Ireland, on 27 – 30 April 2022. On-Site Poster Board Presentations

Poster presenters will be allocated a specific day to present their poster:

  • Day 1: Wednesday, 27 April 2022
  • Day 2: Thursday, 28 April 2022
  • Day 3: Friday, 29 April 2022

Presenters are requested to stand by their posters during the lunch breaks on their allocated day for informal discussions. Please refer to the schedule on the interactive programme on the Congress website.

The poster areas are situated in the exhibition area (Ground Level) of the Congress venue. Poster board will be organised by topics.

Poster presenters may display their posters for the full duration of Congress exhibition area (08.00 Wednesday 27th April – 19.30pm Friday 29th April 2022). Posters should be removed by 19.30 on Friday 29th April 2022 when the exhibition area closes.

Please use the Congress app or the Abstract Book on the website for the poster board mapping. You are requested to display your poster on the board with your abstract number within your selected topic.

Important: Onsite poster presenters are also requested to upload their posters electronically (e-poster) on the Virtual Poster Hall. Please refer to instructions under Virtual Poster Hall (E-Posters).

Poster Board Instructions:

  • The size of your poster should not exceed 1 cm in width and 118.9 cm in height (DIN A0 portrait).
  • Posters should be printed on paper (no textile) in portrait format.
  • Posters printed on textile cannot be accepted.
  • Materials to hang your poster will be available in the Poster areas.
  • Add to the top of the poster the title and authors as stated on the submitted abstract.

The organizers are not responsible for any posters that have not been removed by the end of the Congress. Posters not removed by that time will be discarded. Posters and other material will not be sent to you after the Congress.

Official poster printing service: (optional) We are pleased to inform you that this year we will be working with the innovative PosterSessionOnline service to provide a poster printing service for this year’s Congress. All poster to be presented onsite will receive an email from PosterSessionOnline with their special offer.

Virtual Poster Hall (E-Posters)

All abstract presenters (incl. oral abstract presenters and onsite poster presenters) were asked to also submit an e-posters of their abstract to expand the visibility of their research, especially for the virtual participants of the congress.

These e-posters will be available for viewing on the Platform throughout the Congress and up to three months after the Congress on-demand. There will be two live online poster sessions: Thursday 28 and Friday 29 April 2022 from 17:40-18:25 (Dublin time).

Remote presenters will provide an individual virtual chat link to present their poster. If you are looking for a specific e-poster abstract, please check out the virtual platform and search by the abstract title or author.

On-Site Oral Poster Presentation

Oral abstract presenters will receive detailed guidelines for their presentation in a separate email.

Important: Abstract presenters selected for an oral presentation, are kindly asked to also create and upload an e-poster for our Virtual Poster Hall. Please refer to instructions under Virtual Poster Hall.

On-Site Poster Networking

Poster presentations offer an ideal way of meeting your peers and sharing your ideas. Along with the normal poster presentations, we will also have the opportunity to organise and attend presentations online via our poster presentation platform as well as an informal poster presentation on Friday, 29 April from 18.00 onwards (Happy Hour in the Exhibition area).
