Instructions for poster presenters (electronic and poster board)

Important note for authors:

Upon submitting an e-poster, you were asked for your permission for the publication of these posters by EFIC. If for any reason you would now like to withdraw permission, please contact us at efic2019-scientific@kit-group.org as soon as possible.

The poster presentations are an important part of the scientific programme and an invaluable opportunity for exchange of ideas and update on new research.

We will have 3 types of poster presentations:

1.Poster Viewing Poster Board Presentations

Abstracts selected for this category will be available on poster boards in 3 shifts.

Shift 1: Wednesday, 4 September

Shift 2: Thursday, 5 September

Shift 3: Friday, 6 September

The posters from each session will be on display all day with formal poster viewing and networking.

Presenters are requested to stand by their posters during the coffee breaks on their day of presentation for informal discussions.

Presenters are able to set up their posters from 08:00 on their allocated date. Posters should be removed at the conclusion of the Poster Session, at 19:30, on the day of the presentation.

Please see the scientific programme book onsite or the Congress App for the board number on which you should display your poster. Please use the board with the same number.

The poster areas will be situated in the exhibition area (level 1) of the congress venue.

Abstracts selected for Poster Board Presentations are also requested to upload their posters electronically.

2.Guided Poster Walks

Selected Poster Board Presentations will be presented in a guided poster walk and will be on display during their allocated poster session.

A designated time for presentation will be assigned to each poster.

3.E-poster Viewing

Abstracts selected for this category will upload their posters electronically. The posters will be available for viewing at the E-poster stations throughout the Congress days. There is no designated time for presentations in this category.

Poster Board Instructions:

The size of your poster should not exceed 84.1 cm in width and 118.9 cm in height (DIN A0 portrait).

Posters should be printed on paper (no textile) in portrait format.

Posters printed on textile cannot be accepted.

Materials to hang your poster will be available in the Poster areas.

Add to the top of the poster the title and authors as stated on the submitted abstract.

The organizers are not responsible for any posters that have not been removed by the end of the sessions on the day in which they have been scheduled. Posters not removed by that time will be discarded. Posters and other material will not be sent to you after the Congress.

E-Poster Instructions

All abstract authors will be required to prepare an E-poster in addition to their presentation. Electronic Posters (E-Posters) will be displayed on-site on large LCD television screens (E-Posters stations) and will be available for electronic viewing for delegates throughout the Congress days. You will be asked to prepare an E-poster presentation and upload it on our E-poster platform. Your uploading link along with E-poster guidelines will be sent to you in July 2019. Please note that E-posters do not require printing or production of materials.
